Alice McQueen

Alice Sherian Strickland McQueen, affectionately known as Gaga, was born May 11,1948 to Melvin and Alice Henning in Waco, Texas. She went to her eternal rest on June 5, 2025.

Alice was the oldest of three children and the mom of two sons. Alice graduated from Robinson High School. After high school she worked at Members Choice Credit Union where she was a loan officer for 30 plus years while also maintaining a second job to support her family.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Alice as well as her son Christopher "Chris" McQueen. Alice is survived by her sister Debbie Hill (Steve), brother Jack Hennig (Joyce), son Donald "Donnie" McQueen, grandchildren Michael "Mike" McQueen (Nicole), Devan McQueen (JT), Matthew McQueen (Jordan) and Makayla McQueen. She also leaves behind a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as friends and many other loved ones.

In the end she was surrounded by several loved ones that showered her with love, who will all miss her dearly. In the weeks before she transitioned Nicole lovingly cared for her and made sure she knew someone was always there for her.
