Bettie Joe Stolsworth

Bettie Joe was born on May 5th, 1933, to LR Cunningham and Clara Mae Cunningham. She peacefully passed on to be with our Heavenly Father on February 8th, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Clifford Stolsworth; 7 siblings, Ula Mae, Russel Brian, Ava Nell, Glen David (Pete), Owen Burford, Ben Riley, and Vergil Ray; son James Eddy Stolsworth and grandson James Russell (Jimmy) Stolsworth. 

Her living relatives include sons, Russell (Rusty) Stolsworth, David Stolsworth and Joe Stolsworth; grandchildren Jerry Stolsworth, Tabitha Stolsworth, David Bruce, David Stolsworth Jr, Diana Stine, Melissa Teets and great grandchildren, Bettie Joe was known to everyone as Betty Jo and loved her family strongly. 

The love she shared with her husband was a gift from God and shone brightly to everyone in their atmosphere. Betty was a wonderful woman who loved to cook, feed, talk and joke with anyone who would let her. That sweet woman never met a stranger. She was very handy with crafting and loved to knit and sew. She has created and left some amazing pieces for people to cherish. She is greatly missed but has now joyously returned to her previously passed family and will now be able to rejoice with them.
