Daniel Linkous

Daniel Linkous, age 39, passed away May 23, 2026 in Plano, Texas.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2026 at the Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Ives and Pastor Jim Cox officiating.

Daniel was born August 9, 1986 in Axtell, Texas, the son of Charlie and Cindy (Souders) Linkous. He graduated from Axtell High School and lived most of his life in Axtell. Daniel worked for H. E. B. on Wooded Acres Drive for over 12 years. He loved to dance, frequently at Melody Ranch, and loved playing his guitar. Daniel also loved attending Renaissance Fairs across the state.

Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Charlie Linkous and is survived by his mother, Cindy Powell; his grandmother, Sue Souders; his brother and sister in law, Charlie Buford & Alondra Linkous; sister, Sarah Linkous; niece and nephew, Jasmine Linkous and Charlie Linkous. He is also survived by his cats, Shadow, Baby and French Fry and his dog, Bugsy.
