Doris Pyburn

Doris Ann Atkins Pyburn passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday June 2, 2026. She was 82 years old.

Doris was born January 19, 1944 in Waco, Texas. She loved to read romance novels and you could usually catch her in her favorite rocking chair with one in her hand. Doris loved M & M collectibles, so if something had M & M's on it, she owned it. She owned Coca Cola bears and turkeys as well. Doris was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a strong woman and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Doris was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Angeline Atkins Pyburn; father, Gillo Atkins; husband, Robert Pyburn; brothers in law, Sherman Pyburn and Billy Pyburn and brother, David Atkins.

Doris is survived by her brother, Gillo Atkins and wife, Betty; daughters, Teresa McDonald and husband, Sonny, Loretta Grenman and husband, Wade, Debbie Williams and husband, Charles, Donna Cook and husband, Dennis; son, Larry Pyburn and wife, Jan; grandchildren, Jennifer Rose, Cassie Sindle, Adam Cook, Heather Ricketts, Michael Williams and Douglas Pyburn; several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
