Eddie Lee Sanders

Eddie Lee Sanders, age 56, passed away March 27, 2025. Eddie was born January 15, 1969, to Stannie and Jone Sanders and was a lifelong resident of Waco, Texas.

Eddie worked most of his life in construction. He was employed at Caterpillar at the time of his death.

Eddie loved outdoor activities like gardening, fishing, hunting, and motorcycling. He also enjoyed cooking, crafting, and most of all, spending time with his children Anthony and Lindsay, and granddaughters Aliza and Claire.

Eddie is preceded in death by his brother Paul.

Eddie is survived by his parents, Stannie and Jone Sanders of Waco; son, Anthony Brien Sanders and granddaughter, Aliza Ann of Waco; daughter, Linsday Jenae Sanders and granddaughter, Claire Lynn Nichols of Waco; bonus son, Garrett James Ferguson of Waco; sister, Terry and her husband, Richard Ferguson of Waco; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

May your light shine even brighter in Heaven! We will miss you dearly, our beloved son, father, grandfather, brother and best friend.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
