Elaine Barrington

Elaine McGowan Barrington, age 74, of Waco, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026. Elaine was born October 12, 1951 in Waco, the daughter of Cyril J. and Marge M. (Wilson) McGowan. 

She worked for 23 years at the H.E.B. stores on Wooded Acres and Valley Mills Drive. Elaine was a lover of animals and was known as a kind person. Elaine married James "Rob" Barrington on June 12, 1998 and they shared 18 years together before his passing on March 17, 2016.

 Elaine is also preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sister, Wynema McGowan of Lampasas, Texas and many cousins.
