Elizabeth Ann (Bliss) Lemanski
April 2, 1957 - March 23, 2026
Bliss passed away Monday, March 23, 2026 at her home with her husband, Thomas, by her side. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2026 at Bellmead Funeral Home, 809 La Clede, Bellmead, Texas with Reverend Lester Adams presiding.
Bliss was born in Okinawa, Japan to O.D. and Rebecca (Reed) Marshal, being the sixth of seven siblings. After being transferred to James Connally Air Force Base for a short time, she moved to Paris, Missouri. In 1980 she moved back to Waco and worked at Gulf States Paper Corporation, retiring in 2000. While there she met the love of her life, Thomas Lemanski and they were married in 1981. They were married for 44 wonderful years. After retiring, she enjoyed wood working, refinishing, painting and raising numerous dogs. Bliss courageously fought Lupus, Sjogren's, arthritis and finally, lung cancer. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Becky Thomson; stepfather, Carl Thomson; stepdaughter, Shantai Lemanski; two brothers, Freddie Marshal and Tim Marshal; sister-in-law, Wanda (Lemanski) Preston; brother in law, Frank Edward Lemanski and sister-in-law, Betty Lemanski.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas of Lacy Lakeview; stepdaughter, Nikki Lillard (Ray) of Ft. Worth; granddaughter, Bailee Barton of San Marcos; brother, Bob Marshal of Waco; sisters, Tammy Morgan of Paris, Missouri, Cindy Miller (Don), and Christi Wade of Waco; stepsister, Carla Gartner of Monroe City, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Barbara (Lemanski) Yant of Ft. Worth and Mary (Lemanski) Isham (George) of Waco; brothers-in-law, David Lemanski (Billie) Holland and Benny Lemanski (Peggy) of Georgetown; along with many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.In lieu of flowers please send a donation to Fuzzy Friends, P.
