Ervin Wayne Honea

Ervin Wayne Honea passed away August 24, 2025 at the age of 83.

Born in Waco, Texas to Thomas Ervin and Bertha (Mayes) Honea on November 16, 1941, Wayne married Amlie Davis August 5, 1961 and they were together until her passing on December 22, 2016.

Wayne was a jack of all trades and worked as a roofing contractor most of his life. You could always find him outside, working in his yard. He always had his little dog by his side. Wayne loved his family and was grateful to be able to meet his great grandchildren. He enjoyed a full life.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife Amlie; a son Thomas Wayne Honea; a daughter Melissa Ann Knapp; his sisters Jean Johnson, and Joyce Wilson.

Survivors are his sisters Susan Dotty, and Sherri Wollard; son Jeffery Wayne Honea; grandson Daniel Knapp and wife Roxy; granddaughter Jessica Hartmann and husband Ryan; great grandchildren Raizlynn Hartmann, Renny Knapp, Raimey Knapp, and Mikinley Hartmann.
