Joe M. Findley was born September 19, 1933 in Hubbard, Texas to W.A. Findley and Allie Hysaw. Graduated from Axtell High School in 1953. Joined the Marine Corps out of High School and served for 3 years. Married Joann Andrus in 1962 and was married for 46 years until her death in 2008. They had one son Dallas Andrus.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife Joann, a brother Travis Findley and wife Julia.
Survived by brother Robert Findley and wife Doris, sister Betty Lou Lenoir, stepson Dallas Andrus and several nieces and nephews.
