Johnny Hancock

Johnny Edward Hancock, Jr., age 62, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026 at the family ranch. He was with his family, friend, and his dog, Molly.

Graveside services with Pastor Ronnie Holmes and Pastor Billy Burchfield will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Rosemound Cemetery.

Johnny was born July 31, 1963 in Waco, to Dolly Merry Ann Westfall and Johnny Hancock, Sr. He enjoyed fishing and cook-outs on the ranch with family, his motorcycle friends, especially Ron Maddox, and spending time with his friends, Chuck and Allisha and Allen. Johnny graduated Nimitz High School in Irving and the Offset Printing Trade School.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Bradley Glenn Westfall, his sister, Doris Lee Hancock and his father, Johnny E. Hancock, Sr.

Johnny is survived by his mother, Dolly Merry Ann Westfall; stepfather, Craig Graham; nephew, Matthew Westfall ( who was a great help during Johnny's last months.) and several nieces.

Johnny was a member of Church of the Open Door and was active in the "Judge Not" Friday night Family Worship Hour on the ranch at his mother's home. He loved the Old Gospel Songs, praying and reading the Bible.
