Jannette Ludwig

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Joyce Janette Ludwig, née Bolton, 80, of Bellmead, Texas. On the morning of August 29, 2025, she went to be at peace in the house of the Lord, in the place he hath lovingly prepared for her.

Janette was born on May 24, 1945 in Franklin, Texas to Pack and Dona (Andrews) Bolton. She loved playing Texas Hold'em and could bluff with the best of them. Janette loved to hunt, whether it be deer, turkey or arrowheads, but her favorite pastime was fishing. Above and beyond her hobbies, she deeply loved her family. As a woman of faith, she always said she got through the hard days by standing on the promises of the Lord.

Janette is survived by her son James Calvery and wife, Sheila; grandchildren Sadie, Trent, Jamie and Jesse, great grandson Adrian and a great granddaughter on the way. She is also survived by two sisters, Lois and Geneva, one brother, Brady, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by John Calvery, Raymond Ludwig, her son Dalton, two brothers, Delton and J.P., and two sisters, Faye and Vert.
