Katelyn Marie Sims,35, passed away February 19, 2026 in Waco, Texas leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness that will never be forgotten.

She was born on February 26, 1990, in Waco, Texas to Joel Devin Sims and Vicki Renee Pace Sims. She was a beautiful soul who touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth, compassion, and unwavering willingness to help others.

Katelyn was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone. Her generous heart and gentle spirit made her a source of comfort and strength to her family and friends. She had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and loved, and her presence brought light into even the darkest moments.

She is survived by her loving mother, Vicki Pace Sims; her cherished daughter, Kari Sims; and her devoted sister, Whitney Sims. Each of them carries forward the love and memories Katelyn gave so freely throughout her life.

Though her time here was far too short, the impact Katelyn made will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
