Louise Carlisle

Louise Carlisle, age 94, of Waco got to go home with our Lord and Savior (and Tom) on December 19, 2025.

She was born August 31, 1931 in Los Angeles, Ca. to Grady and Eathal (Roupe) Newman. She married Tom Carlisle May 5, 1950. They had three sons: Tommy , Larry and Joe. Louise (Lou) was a homemaker and an active part of Timbercrest Baptist Church and her community, always lending a helping hand. She enjoyed the outdoors, swimming, singing, her dogs and get togethers with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tom; sisters, Virginia, Francis, Joanne, Midge, and Claire; brothers, Herold, Joe and Kenneth (Speck).

Survivors include brother, Ed Newman; sons Tommy Newman and wife, Laural, Larry, Joe and wife Marilyn; grandsons, Blake and wife Lanie, Luke and wife Megan, Josh, Matthew and Lance.

The family would like thank Providence Hospice and Mercy House of Waco for taking such good care of "Lou Lou". A special thanks to Veronica and Ginny for the special attention they gave her.
