Nita Rappe

Nita Rappe, 94, of Lacy Lakeview, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, at Waco Memorial Park with Rev. Terry Wilkerson officiating.

Mrs. Rappe was born on January 19, 1932, in Franklin, Texas, to Weldon and Marie Maynard. She married J.C. Rappe on Nov. 20, 1948. She was married to J.C for 64 years until his passing. He served 37 years in the Marine Corps while she was by his side every step of the way.

Nita and J.C. raised 4 children who will greatly miss her. Donna Ansari, David Rappe , Susan Sides and Joseph Rappe.

Nita will be remembered for her unwavering love and loyalty to her family.
