Olga Hillebrand Garcia

Olga Hillebrand Garcia, beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted Christian, passed away peacefully in Woodway Texas on May 18, 2025, surrounded by family.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in February 1935, Olga carried with her throughout her life the warmth and generosity of her birthplace.

A faithful believer in Christ as her Savior, Olga lived with the confident hope of resurrection and eternity. Her gentle spirit, ready smile, and unwavering faith touched countless lives.

Olga’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her son, Charles Garcia, and daughter-in-law, Janet Garcia, and their children — Rebekah Garcia, Chuck Garcia, and Scooter Garcia. She is also survived by her daughter, Patricia Norton and son-in-law John O. Norton, and their children, Jack Norton and Emily Norton.

Family gatherings with Olga will always be remembered: a chorus of laughter, shared memories, and plates piled high with her favorite Argentinian empanada’s.

In her final days, she spoke hope and encouragement, trusting fully in the promise of new life through Jesus Christ.

A memorial service celebrating Olga’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 20th at 3:00 p.m. at Mart Cemetery in Mart, Texas.

Olga Garcia will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her faith endures in the lives she touched, and his hope shines on in the promise of eternity with Christ.
