Patrricia "Pat" Anne Hacker

Patricia “Pat” Anne Hacker, 96, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026 in Waco, Texas. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Schuz and Rev. Lester Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford Cemetery.

Pat was born on May 24, 1930 in Bellmead, Texas to Norman Ostrander Bongard and Vetta Mildred Hall Bongard. She graduated LaVega High School in 1947 and moved to Pasadena, Texas. In 1986 she moved to Waco, Texas where she lived on the land that her Grandfather owned. Pat became a member of Concord Baptist Church and always had three pews reserved for the Sewing Sisters at church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Vetta Bongard; husband Robert Hacker.

Pat is survived by her sons, Glenn Morgan and wife Andrea, and Greg Morgan and wife Kay; sister, Jean Johnson; brother, Charles Bongard; step daughters, Holly Wheeler and husband Mike, and Bryan Hacker; grandchildren, Hollis Morgan and wife Erica, Chris Morgan, and Brandi Norwood and husband Johnny; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Pat will be missed by everyone who know and loved her. “Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near”.
