Ronald D Higginbotham

Ronald David Higginbotham, 54, of Waco passed away suddenly after a lengthy illness at Providence Hospital April 27, 2026.

Ronnie was born August 20, 1971 at Hillcrest Hospital to parents William David Higginbotham and Patricia Darline Higginbotham. He graduated from Connally High School, class of 1990. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Army where he was an M.P. and proudly served his country.

Ronnie was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and his dad.

He is survived by his mother and his brother, Jason Higginbotham. He is also survived by his pride and joy, his son, Jonah Andrew Higginbotham and wife Erica and his precious granddaughter, Elliot Higginbotham. Ronnie is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

We would like to thank the Providence emergency room doctors, nurses and staff for all they did. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses at Lakeshore Village Nursing Home for the care given to Ronnie while he was there, especially Nurse Dana and Madison and his driver who took him to all his doctors appointments and his dialysis sessions. Ronnie will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Graveside service will be held at a later date.
